I, My, Me, Strawberry Eggs online videos

I have to admit that I went into this anime thinking “how dumb can you get”. I had read the series description a couple times and had dismissed it as silly. After all, a teacher who is forced to crossdress to get a job just isn’t that original.

I then saw the first episode. I had even lower opinions of it from there. It opens with this little midget of a person taking money from tenants of hir’s (and I use that gender term deliberately, there is no clue through out the entire anime what sex this person is) and shooting them with a gun that fires plastic bullets. Capmy to say the least.

This is probably a review I don’t have to do, as Tootsie is iconic for many of us. I know I grew up with this movie, as well as “Mr. Mom” and others of that ilk.

Regardless, since I just recently saw it again I am going to review it for you all.

Well, I mentioned in this post that there was one crossdressing anime that I liked. But I failed to mention the other that I like a lot.

It’s Otome Wa Boku Ni Koishiteru and it is in a similar theme, except that instead of being an all boys school, it’s an all girls school and the male attending has to become female to be there. I also found the episodes online, so you can go watch them.

Sue me, I like anime.  One of the things I’m learning to appreciate is gender-bending anime, and this is a good example of it.  I ignored this anime at first becasue I didn’t have Internet, but when I got it back I went looking.

I found the subtitled versions on bittorrent, downloaded them and watched episodes 1 and 2 last night.  While a little campy in places, the animation is first rate.  I am liking the series.
