 Roundup of Shorts I

Okay, this is going to be a semi-regular feature. As I come across things that make me laugh or that I find interesting, I’ll share them with you here on this page. First up:

Oº°‘¨ I have a lot of friends who enjoy biking. Not with a bicycle, but with motorcycles. Quite some time ago I read the following article and laughed my brains out (so that’s what happened to them) and I went looking for it again. So here I present Neighborhood Hazard (or: Why the Cops Won’t Patrol Brice Street)

Oº°‘¨ I love looking in on other people’s blogs, and I got the idea for this roundup from a lady I’ve been following on HER blog. The Park Bench, a Gathering of Nerdy women. She’s got that “nerdy women” right, and I love her for it. It’s a fun blog that I read every day, and I have yet to fail to get something that I enjoyed from it.

Oº°‘¨I’m a smart girl (when I can spell correctly). I understand that there is almost 0% chance of my ever having a wedding where I’m the bride. First off, I’m married to a wonderful woman as it is, and she is my heart and soul. Second off, not too many men out there actually want to marry a pre-op transvestite, or one with the dangly bits still attached. But it doesn’t stop me from wanting to have a wedding or from looking at wedding gowns. While doing so a few years ago, I came across this site; Fairy Fashion Wedding Gowns, a whole site of gowns inspired by medieval times. It’s enough to make any girl’s heart swoon and faint. I believe corsets are required for these gowns. If not, they should be.

Oº°‘¨If you have never seen the work of Jonathon Earl Bowser, I suggest you drop everything and do so now. I mean RIGHT NOW! I have seen a lot of art, and his is the best out there of women and mythic beings/goddesses. His prices reflect that, but I believe they are worth every cent. My favorite has got to be The Cathedral. And the Details really sell it.

Oº°‘¨Still my all-time favorite video on the Internet.

Oº°‘¨And on to Fashion now. One of the references I used extensively when I first got into Corsets was a site called “The Long Island Staylace Association“, or “LISA” for short. It’s a corset fetishist’s wet dream, with not only info about making and using corsets, but medical problems, how to wear them, and reader-submitted stuff from pictures to fiction. I spent a lot of time there when I was first getting into BDSM and wearing corsets.

Oº°‘¨Finally, last but not least, for all you sissies out there who like being humiliated and trained through harsh measures, I give you Ms. Silk’s site and advise you to go there. At one time they had a chat forum and message board. I spent a lot of time there in fantasy, but I got past the need for humiliation and moved on. But sometimes I still wonder what it would be like to go there and serve Her in person.

I’m going to try to make this a regular feature here to keep you all coming back, but I can only promise that it will be once a week at most. I do have many MANY other things that I can and should be doing. Looking for a job is just one of them. So I’ll post stuff as I get it.

Love Always...NOT my actual signature

Mini-Biography:  Joy is a transvestite who has been using her stories as a form of therapy. At this point she has no desire to undergo the full transition, but that might change some day. Read more about her story at My Story on this site.
